Why use an automated luggage storage
Travelling light is one of the great pleasures of a trip. But between trains, between hotel check-out and an evening flight, there are often hours of waiting with your bags in tow. An automated luggage storage solves the problem simply and safely.
With Lock & Go you can book a locker online before you even leave, choose the size that fits your luggage, and collect with a simple PIN code. No queues, no cash, no waiting.
How to choose the right size
Lockers are available in three sizes:
- Mini — ideal for a backpack or a small travel bag
- Standard — fits up to 2 carry-on bags or a medium suitcase
- Maxi — suitable for 4 carry-on bags or large checked suitcases
If in doubt, always go one size up: you'll pay a little more, but you'll avoid having to make multiple trips or struggling to close the locker.
What you can leave in storage
Lock & Go lockers accept any type of luggage: hard-shell suitcases, soft bags, backpacks, trolleys. It is not possible to store uninsurable valuables, flammable liquids, or hazardous materials.
Each locker is covered by insurance up to €500, so your bags are safe even in the event of unforeseen incidents.
How collection works
- Book online and choose the duration
- Receive your PIN code by email
- Go to the location and enter the code on the touchscreen panel
- The locker opens automatically
- At collection, re-enter the code and retrieve your bags
The system is active 24 hours a day. For night access (22
–8) keep your code handy.Security and video surveillance
All Lock & Go locations are video-monitored 24/7. Footage is retained for 30 days and can be made available to authorities if needed. The lockers are made of reinforced steel and the locking system is electronic — no mechanical key required.
Practical tips
- Book ahead: especially on weekends and public holidays, lockers fill up quickly.
- Check the opening hours: each location has its own free-access hours; check the location page before booking.
- Arrive a few minutes early: loading your bags takes 2–3 minutes — factor this in if you have a train to catch.
- Keep your PIN safe: without the code you cannot open the locker. If you lose it, contact support.
